Embedding means placing the tool inside another web page with an iframe, a short snippet of HTML that displays one page within another. An embedded timer or calculator works on the host page itself, so readers of a team wiki, blog, or course page can use it without leaving.
Which option fits depends on where people will use the tool. A link is best for email, chat, and calendar invites, because it works anywhere and needs no setup. An embed suits pages people return to, such as an intranet dashboard with a Pomodoro timer or a freelancer resource page with a billable time calculator. Embedding requires a site or editor that accepts custom HTML; some hosted platforms limit or strip iframes, so check the platform's embed options first. Height matters most: a frame that is too short forces readers to scroll inside it.

The copied code looks like this: an iframe tag with src set to the tool's address, width="100%", height="600", frameborder="0", and a title. Paste it into an HTML block, custom HTML widget, or the HTML view of your editor where the tool should appear.
Change only the attribute values. To fit a shorter tool, lower the height (for example, height="450"); to fix the width, replace 100% with a pixel value such as 400. Update the title to describe the tool, such as Pomodoro Timer, so screen readers announce it clearly.
